About You

Are you a creative, organised practitioner who's passionate about inspiring learners through Music and Performing Arts?

We're looking for someone who can plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons and build strong, positive relationships with students, helping them grow in confidence, skill, and creativity.

In this role, you'll deliver high-quality teaching across Music and Performing Arts, supporting learners to develop practical, theoretical, and performance-based skills. You'll teach across a range of disciplines, with a strong focus on music theory, instrumental tuition, acting, singing, and drama and performance theory. You'll assess and track student progress, using this to plan meaningful interventions and ensure every learner has the support they need to succeed. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to productions, showcases, and performances, and ideally bring experience of integrated or cross-disciplinary teaching.

You may already have teaching experience or have delivered training in the workplace — but if not, don't worry. If you bring the right attitude, creativity, and commitment to learners, we'll provide full training and support. A positive outlook, empathy for students, and strong classroom management skills are essential. You'll be confident teaching programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3 and motivated to help learners achieve their goals.

Applying is simple — there's no need to update your CV. Just click apply and complete our short application form. You can save your progress as you go, and we'll be in touch with all candidates after the closing date.

If you'd like an informal chat about the role or have any questions, please email — we'd love to hear from you.

Please note that Lecturer roles operate on a two-point salary scale. All new starters begin on the introductory scale point unless specific criteria are met. Progression to the higher scale point normally follows one full academic year of teaching with the Group (subject to approval and appointment by 1 September). Internal applicants in the same role may already qualify for the higher scale and are encouraged to seek clarification.
