Salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 & £4k bonus.
The role will be mostly remote with very occasional office travel to client sites (likely to be 1 / 2x per month) to either London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Glasgow. You will be able to pick a location nearest to you.
As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work on complex, high-visibility projects—building modern, scalable digital products that drive real business change. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Node.js, React, microservices, Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
What We’re Looking For
Required
* 5 years commercial software engineering experience
* Strong experience building microservices with Java (Spring Boot)
* Proficiency with JavaScript / TypeScript, including building front-end applications with React, HTML, and CSS
* Solid experience with Git and platforms like GitHub / GitLab
* Hands‑on experience with Docker and Docker Compose
* Experience with CI / CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
* Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
* Comfortable working within an agile delivery environment
Desirable
* Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
* Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) or SQL such as Postgres
* Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and engineering best practices
