GIBRALTAR. THEATRE / SURGERY NURSE JOBS

The client is seeking a NMC registered theatre/surgery nurse for a day surgery unit.
Commencement will be at the earliest possible opportunity for a 2-year contract (A locum position might be available, too).
Responsibilities include across pre-operative assessment, intra-operative assistance as the scrub nurse, and post-operative recovery.
The nurses will ensure patient safety, maintain sterile technique, and supports the surgical team to deliver efficient, evidence-based care.
Requirements
* Applicants must be registered with the UK’s NMC
* BSc in Adult Nursing
* 2 Year’s minimum experience in perioperative nursing, including scrub responsibilities.
* Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing, including scrub and circulating duties.
* Knowledge of aseptic technique, instrument handling, and day surgery workflows.
* Qualifications in perioperative/operating theatre nursing desirable.
* Previous experience working in a day-case surgical setting desirable.
* Venepuncture and Cannulation skills.
* Available to start asap

* Salary based on experience £30,378 to £40,140 (NHS scales)
