About the role
As an Electrician Apprentice, you’ll have the chance to learn and develop essential skills in the electrical trade. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll gain hands-on experience by working alongside qualified electricians.
Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
* Assisting with the installation of electrical systems and components in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
* Supporting maintenance, testing, and repairs to ensure systems are safe and efficient
* Learning to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
* Helping with troubleshooting and identifying faults in electrical systems and components
* Working collaboratively to ensure compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and building codes
* Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on electrical installations
* Using a variety of tools and equipment safely to complete tasks
* Keeping accurate records and documentation of work completed

Qualifications
* To be considered for this apprenticeship you will need to have achieved a Grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English
* You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
