We have a General Assistant role to join our team based at Chadderton (Chadderton South Health Centre). While this is your primary base, you will be required to work across multiple locations within our wider property portfolio, including sites in Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale and Bury, with potential wider coverage across Stockport, Oldham/Tameside and Bolton/Wigan as operationally required.
1. £12.62 per hour, £24,681.00 per annum, pro-rata
2. 37.5 hours per week
3. 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday, though flexibility is essential, as you may be required to start earlier (from 4am) or finish later depending on operational needs.
4. Driving licence required, as a company van will be provided.
5. DBS check will be conducted, training will be providing
Key Responsibilities
This role will involve delivering a broad range of general assistant duties, including supporting patient movement, carrying out caretaker and body store tasks, completing routine checks such as alarm testing, and keeping log books and permits up to date. You will transport linen, stores, equipment, medical gases and patient notes, respond to emergencies, and operate systems such as fire alarms or CCTV when required. The role also includes maintaining clean, safe and tidy environments, undertaking cleaning duties, managing waste, assisting staff when needed, and identifying or completing minor repair tasks across the site.
