We are seeking a passionate and adaptable English Teacher with QTS to support learners aged 8–18 within a specialist education setting. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, working 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Learners have a range of complex Special Educational Needs, including: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Communication, sensory and developmental needs and Physical and medical needs
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver adapted English lessons to meet individual needs
* Use creative and multi-sensory approaches to support communication
* Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
* Work closely with support staff, therapists and families
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs
* Experience teaching learners with PMLD and/or SLD is highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location
* A patient, flexible and resilient teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
