Due to an upcoming change within our nursing team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
The post offers the opportunity to work in a unique and rewarding rural setting, as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team consisting of;
* 2 GP Partners & 1 NP Partner
* 2 Practice Nurses
* 2 Health Care Support Worker/Phlebotomist
* 1 Triage Administrator
Our extended multidisciplinary team includes Health Board–attached staff such as District Nurses/ CTAC, Health Visitors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, a FC Physiotherapist, as well as the Pharmacotherapy Team.
The ideal candidate
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
* Cervical screening experience advantageous
* Excellent communication and team-working skills
* Commitment to high standards of patient care
* Ability to adapt to a fast changing clinical environment & enjoy working as part of a wider team
This role will encompass patient triage, treatment room clinics and chronic disease management.
Clinical supervision and training will be available to the successful candidate.

The practice currently uses EMIS clinical system alongside DocMan and will be transitioning to Vision in the near future. Confidence with clinical IT systems and a willingness to adapt to change is therefore essential. Full training and support will be provided during the transition.
