This would suit an engineer with previous experience working within MoD Project Teams, Delivery Teams or Front‑Line delivery of platforms or equipment. Essential Requirements
* Has at least 2 years’ experience of working in, or technically leading, multi‑disciplinary engineering teams in the defence land domain.
* Can demonstrate their understanding of the different safety aspects of a project/systems life cycle.
* Holds a degree or has equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
Desirable Requirements
Ideally, you will also have some of the following:
* Experience of working in or with DE&S.
* Be a practitioner in one or many of the following disciplines:
o Safety & Roadworthiness
o Cyber Security for Roadworthiness (ISO/SAE 21434:2021)
o Land Certification (DEFSTAN Def Stan 23‑015, Land System Certification (LSC))
o Regulatory & Legislative Compliance
o Modifications and configuration control
* Previous/current experience as an engineering consultant.
* Working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
