IT systems play a pivotal role in Softcat’s success. Softcat is embarking on a multi‑year Sales Systems Replacement programme utilising Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, PROS Smart CPQ, and the Copilot platform. As a Business Systems Analyst you will gather, analyse, document and manage business requirements across the full lifecycle of the programme.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners to elicit and document Sales/CRM requirements.
* Create clear and detailed business and functional requirement documents (BRDs/FRDs).
* Develop process flow diagrams, use cases, and other visual aids to illustrate requirements.
* Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Collaborate with solution architects and designers to develop the Sales system’s functional design.
* Participate in test planning and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the Test Lead.
* Identify potential risks and issues related to the Sales system replacement and propose mitigation.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
* Knowledge and experience of Customer Management systems.
* Experience working with third‑party partners and delivering large platform solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to elicit and articulate requirements clearly for different audiences.
* A proactive, can‑do approach and willingness to share best practice.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
