You are an artist who is inspired by your work with children and young people. You have strong experience in the development of visual art lessons for primary aged children and are confident in teaching Art and Design at National 5 and Higher.
You have excellent communication skills and know that you work best when part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
You will thrive in a small school that holds the creative subjects in equal regard to all other curriculum areas and where the whole team understand the value of cultivating children's many languages of expression.
You are ready to expend the scope of your work to include the coordination of arts experiences for children of all ages, using your own creative abilities to build on and respond to students' interests and needs.
You have major strengths in connecting like minded people and are ready to use these in the role of student guide - supporting learners to build their own research projects and refine their creative responses to the world around them. You are looking for a job in which you can grow as an artist and teacher and showcase your vision of the power of art and design to engage young minds.
