The Role
As Managing/Consulting Director, you will own and grow the firm's Financial Services practice. You will be the senior face to a portfolio of FS clients, driving commercial growth, shaping client strategy, and working closely with the founding leadership team to expand the firm's reach. This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity suited to individuals coming from a traditional consulting background, particularly those with experience from firms such as Capco, PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, or similar environments at Manager through to Director level.
The ideal profile will have strong exposure to:
* Banking transformation programmes
* Financial services consulting
* Payments and fintech ecosystems
* Enterprise change and delivery functions
* Commercial stakeholder management
* Building and scaling client relationships
Key responsibilities:
* Leading and growing the Banking & Financial Services practice within the Adaptive Teams division
* Developing strategic relationships with enterprise banking and payments clients
* Identifying opportunities across transformation, consulting, and talent solutions
* Driving commercial growth through both existing accounts and new business development
* Advising clients on workforce strategy, project delivery, and specialist team buildouts
* Working closely with senior leadership on market expansion and go-to-market strategy
* Managing and mentoring consultants and delivery teams where required
The ideal candidate:
* 10 Years + consultancy backgroud, ideally from the Big 4
* Has strong Banking, FS, or Payments market knowledge
* Comfortable engaging with C-suite and senior transformation stakeholders
* Commercially driven with strong relationship-building capabilities
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to help scale a practice area
* Able to operate within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
