Offer description

Life. Unlimited. At SmithNephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our engagement with the next generation of orthopaedic, sports medicine and trauma specialists across international markets. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships, influencing educational pathways and helping future clinicians discover the power of SmithNephew technologies, this role offers a unique platform to make a lasting impact. What will you be doing? Each day will look a little different, but every day you will be right at the centre of how fellows and fellowship programmes engage with SmithNephew. You will spend time getting to know fellowship directors, faculty and fellows themselves, understanding their goals, their clinical exposure and how SmithNephew can support their development. You will maintain and refine detailed profiles of each programme in your region, keeping track of who is training where, who is preparing to graduate and which technologies they have been exposed to. You will lead conversations across Medical Education, Marketing, Clinical and Commercial teams to make sure fellows have access to hands on and digital learning opportunities that bring our innovations to life. Some days you will be planning and delivering educational touchpoints. Other days you will be working on transition to practice pathways for fellows returning to their home countries. You will look ahead to identify where additional learning might benefit an individual fellow and you will connect them with the right clinical experts or content to build their confidence. You will also play a key role in running the annual Fellowship Grant Funding application cycle, working with internal stakeholders to assess and support programmes fairly and compliantly. Everything you do supports a seamless, positive and consistent experience for fellows globally and strengthens our relationships with the programmes shaping the clinicians of tomorrow. What will you need to be successful? Success in this role looks like becoming a trusted partner to fellowship programmes, an advisor to internal teams and a connector who brings people and opportunities together. You will thrive if you can navigate diverse cultures, communicate clearly and adapt to what each fellow and region needs. You will need • A strong understanding of Operating Room procedures and training pathways, ideally built over eight or more years in healthcare or medical devices • Experience working across global teams and cultures, with the ability to influence and build relationships • Confidence identifying learning needs and creating impactful educational experiences • The ability to think strategically while keeping operational details running smoothly Travel Requirements: >25% travel within the UK You.
