Tudor Employment Agency Ltd are currently recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers to join our well established client based in Halesowen. Working hours: 7.30am – 4.30pm. Location: Halesowen. Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and collect goods using a 3.5T van
* Load and unload stock safely and efficiently
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
* Plan and follow delivery routes to meet schedules
* Obtain proof of delivery from customers
* Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained
* Assist in warehouse duties when required
* Follow health & safety and driving regulations
* Keep accurate delivery records and paperwork
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous van driving experience preferred but not essential (some long distance may be required up to 1.5 hours travel)
* Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
* Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
* This position will also require you to assist with the unloading of goods being delivered and can require lifting up to 25kg, ideal for drivers who don’t mind hands
