Brief Overview

An exciting opportunity to be part of Merlin Diesel Systems design and manufacture Diesel Test Equipment for Automotive, Rail, Power generation and Marine applications. The applicant will support The purchasing and logistic team in all aspects of day to day duties enabling us to achieve business objectives and targets. And you will be able to develop within the team and learn new skills.

We are looking for a an apprentice to join our Test Equipment department.

Responsibilities include;


* Creating and booking in completed jobs through our EGO System.

* Inspection of incoming materials and components.

* Stock checking and Quality policy.

* Invoicing parts and arranging export through DHL/TNT.

* Contact suppliers for quotations.

* Ordering components and parts for Test benches and Tooling

* Use of Excel spreadsheets to Keep purchasing data up to date.

* General office Admin reporting to Purchasing and Logistics department.

* Observe and Comply with correct Health and Safety.
