Night Transport Coordinator
Permanent Role
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire - WF2 0XN
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Pay During Probation: £16.10/hour (weekly pay)
Salary After Probation:
Up to £33,500/year

What You'll Be Doing
Manage and execute transport plans to meet delivery and collection SLAs
Handle live changes and remedial planning during shifts
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and operational procedures
Liaise with stakeholders and subcontractors for efficient fleet use
Oversee VOR/defect logs and arrange breakdown repairs
Act as first response for incidents and escalate accident details
What We're Looking For
Experience in fast-paced logistics or transport environments
Strong understanding of compliance, driver hours, and incident handling
Confident with email, dispatch systems, and morning handovers
Knowledge of UK geography and Health & Safety standards
Experience with C+E drivers is a plus
