*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic/MOT Tester (Mot tester not essential ) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and environmental standards. *Responsibilities*
* Diagnose faults using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
* Carry out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
* Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform tasks such as brake repairs, engine diagnostics, suspension work, and tyre fitting
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within specified timeframes
* Assist with vehicle safety checks and ensure compliance with legal requirements
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including heavy lifting procedures when handling vehicle parts or equipment
*Skills*
* Good mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work
* Ability to perform MOT testing accurately and efficiently (if applicable)
* Good organisational skills
* Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
* Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose vehicle issues effectively
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
