Job Summary
The post holder will provide effective, evidence-based care to patients under the indirect supervision of a registered practitioner. They will plan, organise, and deliver delegated clinical care in line with NHS policies, clinical governance, and professional standards. This position is for 16.5 hours per week on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Work independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team to manage and prioritise own workload.
* Undertake delegated patient assessments.
* Identify and manage care risks.
* Support audits and inspections and ensure Practice policies are followed.
* Maintain professional development and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet service needs.
* Plan, organise and deliver clinical care as agreed with the supervising practitioner in line with clinical governance and professional standards and guidelines.
* Contribute proactively as a member of the multidisciplinary team in support of registered practitioners.
* Organise and prioritise own workload, time and resources effectively to reduce risks to the quality of service delivery.
* Help the practice operate in a cost‑effective manner.
* Participate in audits and inspections as appropriate.
* Ensure that all Practice Policy is fully implemented.
* Take responsibility for own continuing self‑development, undertaking training as appropriate.
* Undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required.
