Duties
* Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that meets health and safety standards.
* Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery setting.
* Assist with daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide junior staff members effectively.
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for potential transportation needs related to nursery activities.
