Overview
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be a people person who enjoys meeting and supporting a diverse range of people of all ages. You will need at least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support to be confident and ready to support our clients with more advanced needs. The Complex Care Assistant role at Alcedo Care involves delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders. You'll be fully supported with expert training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and our training team, giving you the confidence to excel in your role. From specialist care such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy support to assisting with medication, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks, you'll develop skills that truly make a difference.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs.
* Provide specialist care including PEG, suction and tracheostomy support where required.
* Assist with medication administration, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks.
* Work under the supervision and competency sign-off of our in-house Registered Nurses and training team.
* Develop skills to support clients in their own homes and contribute to their independence.
Qualifications
* At least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support.
* Willingness to participate in specialist training and obtain required competency sign-offs.
