About The Role
MTVH are looking for a Document Controller to manage and oversee all aspects of document control across Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all project documentation is accurately tracked, stored, and maintained in line with regulatory and organisational standards. You will be responsible for maintaining effective document control systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and supporting teams to access up-to-date and accurate information at all times.
As part of the Asset Management – Building Information / Building Safety team, you will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate document flow. You will ensure version control, manage access to sensitive documentation, and support compliance and audit readiness across projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage centralised document control systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security of all project documentation.
* Maintain naming conventions, classification standards, and version control processes to ensure document integrity.
* Monitor document workflows, submission timelines, and approvals, highlighting any risks or non-compliance.
* Control document distribution and access for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality.
* Support compliance with ISO standards and contribute to audit readiness and record retention processes.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
* Proven experience in document control within construction, AEC, or similar environments.
* Strong understanding of document control systems (e.g. Aconex, SharePoint, BIM 360) and ISO standards.
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and maintain structured digital filing systems.
