The Role
This position will suit an experienced tax professional with strong management credentials who is ready to step into a broader leadership role. You will play a key role in shaping and growing the firm’s tax function, contributing not only to client service but also to team development and wider business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing and delivering a broad range of tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client base.
Advising on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, corporation tax, VAT, and international tax matters.
Providing specialist input on estate taxation, CGT planning, and property transactions.
Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing tax team.
Building and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships.
Managing client portfolios, billing, and contributing to business development initiatives.
RequirementsThe Candidate
Significant experience in tax compliance and advisory, covering private clients, trusts, and corporates.
Strong technical knowledge across multiple tax areas, ideally with a focus on estates, CGT, and international issues.
Proven leadership ability, including mentoring and managing a team.
Commercially astute, with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) is preferred.
