What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the post-holder will be responsible for delivering works on our Water Utility and Environmental Agency contracts to a high standard and in a timely manner. Travel and overnight stays will be part of the job. You will:
* Assist with site preparation, including unloading and storing materials and plant.
* Handle, store, and dispose of materials properly.
* Perform physical tasks such as timber shuttering, drainage, kerb laying, and material mixing.
* Operate heavy machinery with CPCS training (digger, dumper, compressor).
* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, wearing PPE at all times.
* Follow safety protocols and instructions.
Who we’re looking for
ESSENTIAL
* Experience working on-site as a labourer.
* Conscientious and positive attitude.
* SSSTS certificate or equivalent.
* Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work safely at heights.
* Follow instructions and accept responsibility.
* Ability to lift and push equipment.
* Act on initiative regarding health and safety.
* Good driving skills in company vans.
* Willing to attend training and travel as required.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
DESIRABLE
* Experience in the water industry.
* EUSR Water Hygiene Card.
* Certificates in Confined Spaces and Manual Handling.
