Role Overview
The Contracts team in Bloomberg's Finance and Admin department focuses on customer service and operational management of contract processes across all groups and products. As a Contracts Operations Coordinator, you will provide excellent customer service to a global client base, managing the operational and administrative aspects of contracts.
In this fast-paced environment, you'll prioritize tasks and strive for operational excellence, supporting individual and team goals. Your daily responsibilities will include managing client support tasks (over 70 daily) through the order to cash process, mitigating risks via proper legal documentation, and maintaining our client database.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze Service Order Requests (SORs) to identify contract needs
* Review and apply executed contracts to customer profiles
* Ensure timely and accurate issuance of contracts to clients
* Handle operational contract inquiries from internal and external clients
* Maintain global agreements and customer legal entity databases, ensuring proper documentation and database integrity
* Mitigate risks by overseeing contract processes and enforcing policy guidelines
* Partner with various teams (Sales, Operations, Accounting, Installations, Negotiations) to deliver exceptional customer service
* Assist clients with contract inquiries to facilitate sales finalization
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to manage issues and resolve inquiries
* Anticipate next steps and evaluate the implications of actions or events
* Utilize research platforms and troubleshoot technology issues to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
* 2-5 years of relevant experience
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Experience with contracts (vendor, customer service, etc.) and data management
* Fluent in Spanish or German (verbal and written)
* Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Results-driven mindset
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
* Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal, Microsoft Suite, SAP, Kofax
Desirable Skills
* Customer Service experience in Financial Services or Technology
* Passion for customer service
* Interest in workflow efficiency improvements
