Engineering Scheduler Redditch (Office-Based) Up to £30,000 Our client is a well-established and growing engineering business, seeking an organised and detail-oriented Engineering Scheduler to coordinate their field service operations. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring engineers are efficiently scheduled, customers are kept informed, and service delivery runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Schedule and coordinate field service engineers, ensuring optimal utilisation and efficient routing * Act as the main point of contact for engineers and customers regarding service appointments * Manage reactive and planned maintenance schedules, prioritising urgent requests where required * Monitor job progress and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate delays or changes * Liaise with internal teams to ensure parts, equipment and resources are available for scheduled work * Maintain accurate records of jobs, engineer activity and customer updates within internal systems * Communicate effectively with customers to confirm bookings and provide updates on service visits * Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks as required Requirements * Proven experience scheduling field service engineers is essential * Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Confident working with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) * Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing workloads * A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail What’s on Offer * Salary up to £30,000 * Stable, long-term opportunity within a growing engineering business * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Office-based role in Redditch If you have experience coordinating field engineers and are looking for a fast-paced, rewarding role, our client would be keen to hear from you
