Responsibilities
* You will work as part of our multi‑discipline engineering team delivering projects spanning nuclear, new build energy generation, defence and decommissioning sectors and other regulated industries, gaining experience at all phases of the design lifecycle, from concept through to detailed design for manufacture.
* You will be involved in the planning and executing of engineering and design activities, producing engineering drawings, documentation and calculations using tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, AR, VR, 3D printing etc.
* You will study towards a Level 6 Degree qualification whilst gaining valuable work experience and earning a salary.

About You
* Fascinated by design, CAD, and how things work – whether through school, hobbies, or personal projects.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Team player with solid communication abilities.
* Eager to contribute to electrical or mechanical design in a real engineering environment.
* Minimum entry requirement of 96 UCAS points. A’ Levels must include a mathematical‑based subject and a science, technology, engineering or an additional mathematics‑related subject; or an equivalent Level 3 Engineering qualification (BTEC/EAL Diploma/T Level) at Merit Level or above. Five GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths and a Science at Grade 5 and above.

* Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Day in Spring term 2026.
