Job description: We are recruiting for Class 1 LGV CE Drivers at our Manchester Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business. Contract Full Time / Permanent Shift Pattern AM Shifts (Thurs Fri Rest days 3am-5am start time), PM Shifts (early afternoon start time, rest days flexible) Location - Manchester Depot (M17 1TU) Rate of Pay - £15.88 per hour (plus below premiums) 1.125 xbasic rate for work on a Saturday 1.5 x basic rate for work on a Sunday Additional 14.25%uplift of base rate for Unsociable hours (6PM 4AM) 1.5 x basic pay rate for work on a public holiday 1.125 x basic rate for overtime Class 1 LGV CE Key Role & Responsibilities Delivering milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres. Puts safety first and respects all other road users. Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly. Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient. Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base. Class 1 LGV CE Key Skills & Experience HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat CE) Current CPC and digital driving card No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs) An effective team member who works well on their own initiative Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work, self-motivated and reliable Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable - newly qualified drivers are welcome, we will train and develop you to the necessary level Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role (trolleys will be loaded and unloaded by the driver onto the vehicle) Benefits 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) - will increase with service No overnights stays.
