Part‑time Retail Merchandiser – responsible for providing timely and effective retail merchandising and shelf management services across all Hasbro product categories in assigned retail stores. The role emphasizes maintaining a high standard of merchandising, ensuring that store shelves and feature locations are properly stocked and aligned with Hasbro’s planograms and monthly priorities to increase product visibility, promote sales, and develop strong business relationships with retail account management teams.
A day in the life:
- Merchandising Execution: Merchandise all Hasbro product categories in alignment with plans and objectives set by the Supervisor to meet high‑quality standards.
- Stockroom to Sales Floor: Move product from backroom to store shelves, ensuring correct planogram placement and shelf labels with accurate account pricing.
- Monthly Features Execution: Set up required monthly product features in assigned stores to enhance visibility and sales.
- Merchandising Opportunities & Communication: Engage with store managers to identify and discuss opportunities for driving sales through extra out‑of‑aisle placements and expanding shelf space.
- Survey Completion & Feedback: Complete store surveys and provide timely feedback on store conditions and merchandising challenges.
- In‑Store Photos: Capture and submit high‑quality images of priority product placements and competitive set‑ups.
- Training & Mentorship: Assist in training newly hired merchandisers.
Qualifications:
- Available to work daytime, weekday hours and occasional weekends based on business demands.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous retail merchandising experience preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders, stand, bend, and engage in physical activity as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Tech savvy (iPad, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Office).
- Reliable high‑speed internet and a personal computer compatible with Microsoft Office/365.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of car insurance, and good driving record.
- Must live within the assigned territory.
Compensation:
- Starting Pay Range: $17.25
- Pay Range End: $27.00
