The Role

We have an opportunity for a talented Videographer & Video Editor to join our growing team. This exciting dual role combines on-location filming (up to five days a week) with editing alongside our in-house creative team.

You’ll play a key role in crafting content that inspires and connects, working across a huge variety of sectors and formats. From shooting interviews and capturing inventive b-roll to building narratives in post-production, you’ll help bring our clients’ stories to life.

No two days will be the same – we work with major brands in retail, healthcare, education, as well as multiple charities and cultural and community organisations.

Responsibilities

* Plan, shoot, and direct video content on location across the UK.
* Capture engaging interviews, b-roll, drama, drone and social content across diverse industries.
* Edit projects from start to finish, shaping strong narratives that resonate with audiences.
* Collaborate with our in-house team of shooters, editors, producers, and animators.
* Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects.
* Manage, maintain, and operate production equipment.
* Deliver projects on time and to Millstream’s award-winning creative standards.

About You

* Minimum 5 years of professional client-facing experience in videography and video editing and a strong portfolio.
* Proven ability to film and edit across a wide variety of industries and formats.
* Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for inventive b-roll and narrative structure.
* Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and a thorough understanding of codecs and compression.
* Experience with crafting content for social media platforms.
* Able to interact with clients with confidence, respect and assurance.
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and the occasional early start/late finish.
* Able to work across multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
* Full UK Driving License. You will need to use your own car to travel to shoots and all mileage is reimbursed.
* A collaborative, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.

If this role sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV and portfolio to hello@millstreamproductions.com .
