You’ll play an important role in supporting our customers across the Mole Valley Farmers group, making sure their accounts are accurate and queries are handled with care. This is a collaborative and varied role where your communication skills and attention to detail will make a real difference, and you’ll be joining a welcoming team who are always ready to help each other.
About The Role
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
As a Customer Accounts Administrator, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for customers needing support with their accounts. You’ll help resolve queries, process payments, encourage digital account options, and work closely with colleagues to ensure things run smoothly. This is an office‑based role with plenty of variety and opportunities to learn.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Responding to incoming calls on the customer accounts line and offering friendly, helpful support
* Resolving basic customer enquiries and providing documentation where needed
* Processing payments and promoting Direct Debit options
* Making proactive calls to customers to help manage and reduce overdue accounts
* Supporting customer account technicians and coordinators with day‑to‑day tasks
* Promoting paperless options such as digital statements and invoices
* Carrying out general administrative tasks and contributing to improvements within the team
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an efficient, positive working environment
About You
* Experience in customer service, credit control, or account administration
* Strong communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing competing priorities
* Friendly, proactive, and solutions-focused
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of purchase and sales ledger processes would be an advantage
