Your new role
As a CNC Maintenance Electrician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing operations. Working on-site in Washington, Tyne & Wear, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC machinery and associated electrical systems. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical expertise and adaptability across three rotating shifts:
1. Early: 6:00am – 1:40pm
2. Late: 1:25pm – 9:05pm
3. Night: 9:00pm – 4:00am (4 nights only)
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
4. Time-served Electrician with apleted 4-year apprenticeship (HNC/HND desirable)
5. 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
6. Proven experience working on CNC machines in an industrial environment
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
8. Safety certifications (, IOSH, Working at Height, MEWP licence, Confined Space)
Desirable:HV/LV Switching experienceTesting & Inspection (C&G 2391)Familiarity with industrial robots (Fanuc/ABB)PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills
