TP Tutors is recruiting skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to provide targeted tuition in Mansfield and the wider Nottinghamshire area. If you’re passionate about helping students build confidence with numbers and succeed in maths, this role could be a perfect fit.
Role Overview
You will deliver personalised lessons outside of the classroom environment, either in students’ homes or community settings. Sessions may focus on closing learning gaps, preparing for exams, or helping learners tackle challenging topics.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality tuition in maths (1:1 or small groups)
* Adapt teaching to suit a range of learning styles and abilities
* Break down complex topics such as algebra, geometry, and problem-solving
* Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection standards are upheld
What We’re Looking For
* Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum (KS2–KS4, ideally GCSE)
* Teaching experience, including support for SEND and/or SEMH learners
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to teaching
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Up-to-date safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
