We\'re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Female Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker you\'ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our residential service in Birchills is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. You\'ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to be independent, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local community hotspots, the next you could be unwinding with them by playing games or watching films. Responsibilities
Help people gain more independence in their daily lives, teach them new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage independent socialising and participation in activities. Support individuals to engage in local community activities and in-house experiences, and help them grow in confidence to meet their personal goals (e.g., cooking dinner independently, going on holiday).
Qualifications
Must have a valid FULL UK driving licence to drive our vehicles. No prior experience required; a genuine caring attitude, a passion to enhance quality of life, and a willingness to learn are important. DBS checks and references will be required as part of the application process.
