2026 Graduate Programme - Energy - Transition
We are looking for graduates for our Energy Transition team, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.
Responsibilities
* Support the Energy Transition team delivering multi-disciplinary services to clients and projects that contribute to a net zero future.
* Assist with feasibility studies and provide advice on technical, financial, emission and environmental issues, engineering design, process modelling and construction management.
* Provide long-term operational management support services where required.
* Participate in projects across the UK and overseas in areas including Low Carbon and Renewable Energy.
* Contribute to project lifecycle activities such as design, delivery, client engagement and stakeholder management.
* Support business development and the preparation of proposals where appropriate.
Projects
* Green Hydrogen generation plant design (e.g., PEM-based hydrogen production).
* New CCGT plants being designed and installed globally.
* Upgrades and modifications to existing gas networks.
* Pipeline routing studies for large distribution networks.
* Design of onshore wind turbine foundations and solar PV/battery storage projects.
Graduate Development Programme
Two-year graduate development programme with core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration and on-the-job experience.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* Graduation with at least a 2:2 in a master’s degree in a relevant subject for the role.
* Applicants must complete the application form in full and, if required, online skill enabler assessment as part of the recruitment process.
* Willingness to start work in April or September 2026.
* Passion for consulting, interest in structural engineering and design, and enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving.
* Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and adapt to dynamic project environments.
