About the Role:FirstAchieve are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client a global engineering company specialized in oil & gas, nuclear sector. This role involves operating manual turning equipment and lathe machines to produce high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate manual lathes and turning machines
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Set up and adjust machines for accurate production
* Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a manual machinist
* Strong knowledge of manual turning and lathe operations
* Ability to read technical drawings
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
