Job Title: Rigger Location: UK Wide (Travel & Overnight Stays Required) Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Rigger to join our team, delivering projects across multiple sectors including telecommunications, structural and architectural steelwork, floodlighting, gantries, defence and radar solutions. This role involves nationwide travel and regular overnight stays. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and prepare loads for movement Set up, level, and operate heavy equipment and rigging machinery Prepare and assemble rigging equipment (beams, pulleys, clamps, bolts) Inspect rigging equipment before and after use Climb and work safely at height on masts, towers, and steel structures Install feeder support systems and TX link supports Manoeuvre loads using heavy machinery and manual handling Dismantle rigging and conduct post-use inspections Support site surveys and inspections as required Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures Communicate effectively with the rigging team and team leader Requirements (Essential) Certificate for Working at Heights IPAF qualification Ability to climb and work safely at height Knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment Strong communication and teamwork skills Full UK Driving Licence Desirable First Aid at Height Site Access Systems / Slinger Signaller Experience in the telecommunications industry Ability to prepare and work with RAMS, SSOW, and SOW Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Benefits Opportunity to work on varied and bespoke engineering projects Supportive team environment with focus on safety and quality Ongoing training and development opportunities To hear more about this opportunity please apply or contact Lauren at Prime Appointments for a confidential discussion.
