The role:
Safely operate a 7.5-tonne delivery vehicle to make scheduled deliveries and collections for customers, which means there will be a lot of manual handling involved.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to complete around 20 collections per day, considering traffic, road conditions, and time constraints.
Assist with loading and unloading packages onto and from the delivery vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers during deliveries and collections.
Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation for each delivery and collection accurately and promptly.
Adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations, including securing loads and wearing appropriate safety gear.
