The Role:
Seeking a seasoned Senior Underwriter with a proven track record in the renewable energy insurance market. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing MGA and play a key role in shaping their underwriting strategy, broker relationships, and portfolio development across technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Underwrite renewable energy risks in line with company guidelines and appetite.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other market stakeholders.
* Support the growth of the renewable energy portfolio through strategic insights and market intelligence.
* Contribute to product innovation and risk modelling for emerging technologies.
What They're Looking For:
* Minimum 10 years of underwriting experience, ideally within renewable energy
* Strong broker network and market presence in the clean energy space.
* Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, project lifecycle risks, and insurance solutions.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
