An opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK wealth management and financial planning firm operating at the highest level of the market. This role sits within an established Financial Planning team supporting high-value, complex client relationships and experienced Financial Planners.
The firm is recognised for its scale, reputation, and long-term commitment to developing its people. This position would suit an experienced IFA Administrator seeking exposure to sophisticated planning work within a structured, professional environment.
The Role
As an IFA Client Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to aligned Financial Planners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client outcomes while maintaining regulatory and operational standards.
The role offers a hybrid working model, with an initial requirement to be office-based during probation before moving to a 2-3 day office arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide end-to-end administrative support to Financial Planners
2. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients
3. Process new business across ISAs, GIAs, pensions, offshore bonds and trusts
4. Prepare meeting packs, valuations and client documentation
5. Maintain accurate client records and back-office systems
6. Liaise with internal operational teams and third-party providers
7. Manage pipelines, account set-up and AML documentation
8. Identify, log and escalate risks or errors in line with internal procedures
9. Support the use of client portals and digital tools
Candidate Profile
10. Experience supporting Financial Advisors or Financial Planners
11. Strong understanding of financial planning products and processes
12. Experience of new business processing and ongoing client servicing
13. Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
14. Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
15. A client-focused approach with strong attention to detail
