The Role
As Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Bar Manager in delivering a world-class beverage experience that reflects The NICI’s signature style and energy. You’ll help lead a passionate bar team, ensure operational excellence, and create memorable moments for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing day-to-day bar operations, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, and quality
* Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
* Support inventory management, stock control, and ordering procedures
* Collaborate with Head Bartender and management to create innovative cocktail menus and beverage offerings
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Contribute to the pre-opening setup, including team training, systems, and operational procedures
About You
* Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within a luxury bar or hospitality setting
* Passionate about mixology, beverage trends, and creating memorable guest experiences
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Experience in high-volume, high-standard environments
* Pre-opening experience is desirable but not essential
