We’re now looking for an experienced Glazier to join our growing team, working in a busy repair’s environment across residential properties.
Role Responsibilities
1. Replacing broken or damaged glass units in windows and doors
2. Installing and repairing UPVC windows, doors, and frames
3. Diagnosing faults and recommending appropriate repair solutions
4. Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
5. Working in both occupied and void properties
6. Using handheld devices (PDA) to log work and update job status
7. Liaising with tenants and colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
8. Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
9. Supporting other trades and contributing to a positive team environment
Role Criteria
10. Proven experience in glazing and UPVC repairs
11. Experience in the above duties
12. Must be competent with all aspects of glazing and UPVC works including installing/replacing hinges, handles, restrictors, locks and sliding gear
13. Must have experience of and be able to undertake changing of UPVC trims, sills and renewing of double-glazed units
14. You must be able to measure glass and doors and confidently order materials with our suppliers
15. Must be familiar with composite doors
16. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
17. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
18. Good communication skills - verbal and written
19. Basic IT literacy for logging and reporting tasks
20. Full UK driving licence
