Front End Software Developer - Web Applications

Remote working from the UK, Germany or Belgium
£70K + bonus + benefits
Join the R&D team at a long-running music software company and help them to design and develop the front end of their core applications used by musicians, producers and DJs all over the world.
This is an ideal role for a Full Stack Developer who has a really strong front end focus, or a Front End Developer who has some background in full stack. The main thing is that you have experience with front end design for music-based web apps or DAWs.
The Role
* Designing and developing web applications using React and Typescript
* Taking ownership for end-to-end delivery of features
* Collaborating with Designers, Product Managers and other Software Engineers
* Developing front end infrastructure for scalability and performance
* Driving technical excellence across web apps
Remote working from the UK, Germany or Belgium.
Requirements
* 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications
* Highly skilled in TypeScript, React, Next.js and MobX-State-Tree
* Experience working with different rendering strategies: SVG, Canvas, WebGL
* Able to develop highly interactive components and applications
* Strong understanding of API design, state management, and web performance
* Comfortable working across the stack
* Great communicator and collaborator
* Hands‑on experience making / producing music with detailed knowledge of DAWs and music production tools
