Our Logistics warehouse is based in Steeton, which is 5 miles south-east of Skipton, 3 miles north-west of Keighley and has free car parking and is easily accessible via rail or bus links.

Job Overview:

Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and have a talent for keeping warehouse operations running like clockwork? Sound like you – then your precision and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on the efficiency of our supply chain and ensure that stock levels are accurate.

This is a full time (37.5 hours), permanent position working a 0900 - 1700 shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

•Ensure all processes are clearly documented and consistently followed to maintain best practices across the team.

•Maintain accurate stock reconciliation records to support inventory accuracy and improve picking performance.

•Verify and document inbound and outbound procedures to establish a consistent approach for training and continuous improvement.

•Review performance data against agreed targets and communicate results to track progress and identify improvement areas.

•Monitor warehouse pick faces to enhance stock organisation and ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.

•Assist with the preparation, execution, and completion of stocktakes in line with company guidelines and schedules to maintain stock integrity.

•Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain operations.

•Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimise warehouse operations and reduce errors.

•Foster an open approach and communication style with peers and colleagues to build and maintain relationships.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in using inventory management systems or warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with stocktake procedures and cycle counting. Your excellent numerical skills and ability to use Microsoft packages, e.g., MS Excel will shine through as will skills such as strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry & stock handling. Good organisational and time management skills are also essential.
