SHIFT PATTERN: Mon - Fri 0800 - 1700
SALARY: £45,000 per annum
Main Duties
* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI and other dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
* Data Modelling: Create and maintain efficient data models, including data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation.
* Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Requirement Gathering: Collaborate and align with business users, clients, and third‑party service partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and dashboard solutions.
* Performance Optimisation: Optimise the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring quick load times and responsive interactions.
* User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end‑users on all platforms, functionalities and best practices.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
* Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest Power BI features, tools, industry innovations and best practices to continuously improve reporting, analytics capabilities and client experience.
Desired Experience
* Education: Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics with a strong focus on Power BI, dashboards within a client environment.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
* Experience with SQL and relational databases.
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platforms.
* Familiarity with other Microsoft BI tools, such as SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS, is a plus.
Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including senior client levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar certifications.
* Experience in Facilities Management Industry is a plus.
* Familiarity with other data visualization tools and programming languages such as Python or R.
