Senior Application Support Lead for the Housing Application System, dedicated to the next phase of the NEC Housing Management System implementation and ongoing stability of existing modules at Bristol City Council.
Contract Details
Fixed Term until 31st December 2026. Hybrid working arrangements (office and home) with occasional time at City Hall. Out of hours working may be required.
This position is not open to job share/part time working.
Sponsorship is not available for this post.
For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this role will be a secondment. For employees on a fixed term contract, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period. For employees who are currently on a casual contract or working through an employment agency, this post will be a fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
* Lead on development of day-to-day support functions for the Housing application support team.
* Act as a Workstream Lead in delivering modules for the new implementation stage and support the Programme Team.
* Design, build, and test new modules such as Housing Support Register, Contractor Portal, online repair reporting, and asset management support.
* Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure delivery of best solutions.
* Provide support and administration for Housing Functions (Estates and Income Management, Repairs and Housing Options) for approximately 1,000 users.
* Deliver stability for existing system modules.
Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of Housing operations and systems.
* Experience supporting a Housing Application System, preferably NEC Housing.
* Strong application support experience.
* SQL skills desirable.
* Experience leading work packages and teams.
