In Radcliffe, we work closely with loyal volunteers and the local community who are vital in supporting our store. With regular customers and quality donations, we have a successful model – we just need you!
As a Standby Shop Assistant, you will use your retail experience to support our store's daily operations. Working with the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager, you will serve the community, motivate volunteers, manage donations, and oversee daily store activities.
Our shops are open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00. This role is on a zero hours contract with flexible hours based on business needs. Weekend and bank holiday work may be required.
Internally, this role is called a Standby Shop Assistant.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
* Has retail experience
* Is proficient in cash handling and reconciliation
* Has supervisory experience
* Thrives in customer-facing roles
* Possesses computer literacy and administrative skills
It would be a plus if you have:
* Experience managing volunteers
