The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to handle materials efficiently and safely, supporting warehouse management and logistics operations. This role requires a focus on accuracy, safety, and mechanical aptitude to ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes.DutiesOperate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouseAssist with materials handling, ensuring items are moved safely and accuratelySupport shipping and receiving activities by organising incoming and outgoing stockMaintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to safety standardsCollaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve workflowExperienceProven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse settingMechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor repairsExperience in materials handling, load & unload operations, and shipping & receiving processesStrong understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operationThis role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment where safety, efficiency, and mechanical skills are highly valued.
