Referral programmeDuties of the HGV Technician:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Complete vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and DVSA standards
Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Work efficiently and independently during night shifts
Provide excellent customer service and technical support as requiredRequirements for the HGV Technician:
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience preferred
Previous experience working on HGVs and trailers
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
HGV Class 1 or 2 licence is desirable
Ability to work independently and within a team
Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
