Join Our Team as a Fleet Scheduler
Are you a highly organized and detail-driven individual? We’re on the lookout for a Fleet Scheduler to enhance the efficiency of our vehicle replacement and growth programs. In this exciting role, you’ll be pivotal in aligning our fleet build schedules with operational needs, ensuring everything runs smoothly!
As you report to the Fleet Manager, you’ll collaborate with vehicle manufacturers, conversion partners, and internal teams to manage the entire lifecycle of our vehicle assets—from acquisition to decommissioning. This is a hybrid position based in Bescot, offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Coordinate vehicle build schedules to meet business requirements.
* Collaborate with suppliers to manage vehicle delivery timelines, conversions, and equipment installations.
* Oversee the end-of-life and in-life processes of our vehicles, ensuring compliance and equipment checks.
* Monitor and respond to fleet-related queries, providing absence cover for Fleet Support when needed.
* Ensure internal van assets are replaced according to plan.
* Track supplier performance, highlight risks, and report on CAPEX and vehicle build progress.
* Produce regular fleet performance reports and work with Finance for accurate cost tracking.
What We’re Looking For:
* A strong communicator and confident problem-solver who can juggle multiple priorities.
* A background in fleet operations, vehicle logistics, or a similar coordination role is a great fit.
* Excellent administrative, organizational, and data-handling skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Word and presentation skills are desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and business awareness.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider support team.
* Experience in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Capable of managing multiple data inputs to generate business insights.
