Our audit practice is entering a new phase focused on growth. This role has been created to help our mid-market (Private Capital) audit team transform our approach to winning new business.

You will:

1. Transform our approach to winning new business, focusing on a proactive and structured approach aligned with the Firm’s Sales and Marketing Cycle.
2. Bring a fresh perspective and insights from previous experience to drive the right mindset in Business Development.
3. Support private equity relationships and intermediary relations, implementing a key account management framework for PE houses.
4. Adopt the new CRM system (Dynamics), acting as a champion for best practices in the Private Capital (PC) Audit practice.
5. Oversee reporting and monitoring of KPIs around the sales pipeline.
6. Assist in identifying and pursuing new markets and targets, supporting BD efforts.
7. Hold PC partners accountable for their actions and target development.
8. Work with marketing to inform and leverage go-to-market plans.
9. Develop propositions for the PC market through collaboration with other practices.
10. Oversee a XLOS approach to PC targets, working with various teams to gain synergies.
11. Support building a sales culture within the Private Capital practice.
12. Identify and deliver BD/sales training needs.

Knowing you’re right for us

Minimum criteria include:

* Professional services experience
* Background in marketing, BD, account management, or sales operations
* Experience in stakeholder management at a senior level
* Interest or knowledge of Audit beneficial but not critical

The role is flexible on location with a national remit, so travel may be required.

Additional skills that are a plus:

* Understanding of lead generation, sales, and client management
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Drive and initiative, ability to work with ambiguity
* Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics)
* Project management experience
* Pro-active attitude
* Ability to break down siloes and barriers
* Resilience and tenacity
