Overview of the Supply Chain & Materials Planner position
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Chain & Materials Planner to join our Operations team based at our Basildon site in Essex. This is a full time position working 39 hours per week on a permanent basis.
You will be planning optimal capacity (people, material and equipment) in Production, for the relevant Plant(s) so that production- and customer orders may be processed smoothly and the products delivered on time and in-line with the customer's expectations.
Responsibilities of our Supply Chain & Materials Planner position
1. Determining purchasing, production and capacity planning using sales forecast and open orders.
2. Managing KTI and Subcontracting processes.
3. Coordinating people and resources planning with all relevant Plant departments and the various Kingspan sales offices (daily).
4. Managing purchasing, production planning, taking into account available capacity and stock levels.
5. Discuss any adjustments to the planning with the relevant departments.
6. Assuring optimal balance between customer service and cost-efficient planning.
7. Responsible for correctly updating data in the ERP system (SAP).
8. Contribute ideas on potential efficiency improvements in Production, Warehouse and Transport.
9. Managing Material Master and Intercompany price adjustments.
What we are looking for in our Supply Chain & Materials Planner position
You will have:
10. Bachelor degree education (in the field of Logistics & Economics / Supply Chain).
11. Strong experience working in a similar role within a production environment.
12. Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
13. Extensive experience with ERP (preferably SAP).
14. Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
